OUR EXPERTS: Meet the heart behind the help.

Nancy Kotz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Gestalt Therapist and faculty member of The Seaside Gestalt Institute. She holds academic degrees from the University of Maryland and the University of Pennsylvania, and received her postgraduate Gestalt therapy training from the renowned Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, Ohio.

Nancy’s dream of creating a place like the Successful Parenting Institute emerged from her extensive education, 20-plus years of counseling experience with families, and her deep love for children. She wondered….

What if there were a place in Wilmington that specialized in helping people be the parents they want to be?

And so, Successful Parenting Institute was born. Hundreds of lectures and word-of-mouth referrals later, Nancy is thrilled to have added more experts to the cause of creating a healthy and peaceful family atmosphere where both parents and children can be their best.

Today Nancy specializes in counseling individuals, couples and families, and speaking to groups large and small throughout the Wilmington area. At home, she has the privilege of practicing what she teaches with her husband and three sons. Nancy is the Founder and Director of Be The Adult, a nonprofit organization that encourages healthy families.
